Fatalities and the number of cases with coronavirus, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and spread all over the world, continue to climb in the U.S.

According to the Johns Hopkins University, 2,410 people have died from the pandemic in the past 24 hours, rising the county’s death toll due to the virus to 26,059.

On the other hand, Bill Gates asked Trump not to halt funding for the World Health Organization during a global pandemic, a day after he announced his intent to do so.

“Halting funding for the World Health Organization during a world health crisis is as dangerous as it sounds. Their work is slowing the spread of COVID-19 and if that work is stopped no other organization can replace them. The world needs @WHO now more than ever,” he tweeted on Wednesday. (ILKHA)
