Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus pandemic reaches 1,403
107 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours in Turkey, increasing the country’s death toll from the virus to 1,403, Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said during a video conference on Tuesday.

A total of 65,111 cases have been reported, an increase of 4,062 new cases in the last 24 hours, he noted
1,809 patients are being treated at the intensive care units. Of those, 1,087 people are mechanically ventilated patients.
4,799 patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital.
A total of 410,556 tests have so far been conducted for coronavirus in the country, including 34,456 tests in the past 24 hours. (ILKHA)
