The death toll from coronavirus surges pass 100,000 worldwide
Globally, the number of deaths from coronavirus has surged pass 100,000, with more than 1,638,000 confirmed case.
The coronavirus pandemic, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, has until now infected at least 1,63,000 people, killing more than 100,000 worldwide.
Italy has the highest number of fatalities, with 18,849 deaths, followed by the U.S. with 17,927 deaths, Spain with 15,970 deaths and France 12,210.
A total of 366,673 patients have so far recovered and have been discharged from hospital. (ILKHA)
