Muslim doctor who warns Johnson over protective equipment dies from COVID-19
Abdul Mabud Chowdhury, a 53-year-old Muslim doctor in the UK, passed away on Thursday in hospital where he was being treated.
He wrote to the United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson, asking him to urgently ensure protective equipment was available for each and every NHS worker in the UK three weeks ago.
“Please ensure urgently Personal Protective Equipment for each and every NHS workers in the UK,” he said on his Facebook page on March 18.
So far, 6 Muslim doctors and 3 Muslim nurses have died in the UK due to coronavirus.
In the UK, Muslim Doctor Mohammed Sami Shusha, Doctor Alfa Saadu, Doctor Amged al-Hawrani, Doctor Habib Zeidi and Doctor Adil Al-Tayar lost their lives due to Coronavirus, which they contracted while on duty. (ILKHA)
