Sağlam proposed that the government should give health workers who lost their lives due to coronavirus pandemic the status of "martyrdom" and that necessary legal arrangements should be made for the personnel affected by the pandemic.

“5 political parties should use the money that they get from the Treasury for citizens”

“The amount of aid from the Treasury to the parties in 2020 has been announced. Accordingly, a total of TL 419 million will be provided by the state to 5 parties in the parliament. We call on the parties receiving aid from the Treasury to make sacrifices in these hard times, when Treasury is empty and the public is asked to support aid campaigns. The tradition of asking only the people to make sacrifices must come to an end in Turkey. Instead of putting the money in their coffers, it would be best for the parties to use this aid that they get from the Treasury for citizens who have lost their jobs in order to create social sensitivity in the society. Therefore, we invite our parties in the Parliament to use the aid that they get from the Treasury for the benefit of our citizens who have lost their jobs in the name of leading the sacrifice,” Sağlam said.

“Coronavirus support packages are insufficient but they are important steps”

Speaking about coronavirus support packages announced by Turkish Government, Sağlam stated:” The economic measures put in place by the government, while inadequate, are important steps. Although health policies are at the heart of this process, economic measures need to be seriously considered. Measures of social isolation should not be allowed to destroy the basic infrastructure of the economy. Economic steps not taken in time will put society in great distress. Despite this fact, the economy is not being put on the agenda enough and the steps taken in this area remain insufficient. At the hardest times, instead of forcing citizens to borrow at interest from bank, the government should fulfill the necessity of being a social state and meet the basic needs of each citizen. Even in these days when people are facing death, it is regrettable for Turkey, where 99 percent of its people are Muslims, to force its citizens to borrow at interest from banks.”

"Public lands should be given to landless farmers in order to grow crops such as grain and legumes"

Stating that interest-free loans should be given to tradesmen, producers, industrialists as a requirement of being a social state, Sağlam went on to say: “Under these circumstances, tradesmen, producers and industrialists should be provided with non-repayable and interest-free loan support for at least one year as a requirement of being a social state. Interest should also not be taken from deferred debts. Citizens under the age of 20 who are prohibited from going out but work in public institutions and the private sector should be placed on administrative leave. In addition, a similar campaign to the' We are enough for US Turkey ' campaign should be launched for the owners of the property and landlords should not take rent from the tenants for three months by displaying an example of social solidarity. These steps are necessary to relax the market. Furthermore, it is essential to ensure competence in agriculture and animal husbandry, to ensure food safety and to make it easier for everyone to reach food. The government should take this issue into priority and mobilize its resources for food safety. Treasure lands should be used by landless farmers to grow crops such as cereals and cereals Public lands should be given to landless farmers in order to grow crops such as grain and legumes.”

"Health workers' rights must be protected"

Calling for further measures to be taken in order to protect health workers, Sağlam continued: “More than 600 health workers in our country have caught the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Health Minister. The worsening of the picture every day makes it necessary to increase the measures to be taken. We are all aware of the role of our health personnel who are willing to sacrifice their lives to carry out public service in the fight against the pandemic. Ensuring the security of the environments in which they work and live is of great importance. The lack of protective equipment and the elimination of their concerns will also have a positive impact on their productivity and psychology during the task.

"Necessary legal arrangements must be made for staff affected by the pandemic"

Sağlam proposed that the government should give health workers who lost their lives due to coronavirus pandemic the status of "martyrdom" and that necessary legal arrangements should be made for the personnel affected by the pandemic and added: ”The use of public transportation by our health workers poses a great risk to both themselves and the citizens. To prevent the spread of the epidemic, it is very important to provide safe housing and transportation for health workers.”

"The public should be informed about the virus properly"

Sağlam underlined that it was seen that proper social awareness had not been adequately raised regarding the measures and isolation to be taken in order to contain the outbreak of Covid-19.

“The fact that on the television programs the people who do not have expertise in the subject make statements, which are not based on scientific data, leads to misdirections. In this context, it is very important that the briefings should be made by the experts in the light of the experiences obtained so far. The notion that every citizen has to think not only of himself, but also of someone else, because of the risk of becoming a potential carrier, must develop into a social awareness. It should often be emphasized that those who pass the disease on to someone else due to imprudence will be under severe plague.”

Sağlam went on to say: “For patients who have chronic disease and have to go to hospital (heart attack, oncological patients, etc.), certain separate centers other than coronavirus treatment centers should be established and referrals should be made by family physicians. A solution should be found to the information pollution that causes confusion about wearing masks, using cologne and other methods of protection, and public awareness should be raised with the exact information. In order to create a sense of responsibility about staying at home and social isolation, action should be coordinated with political parties and non-governmental organizations. In order to create a sense of responsibility about staying at home and social isolation, the government should work in coordination with political parties and non-governmental organizations.”

“The Law on the Execution of Penalties should not injure the public conscience”

Indicating that innocent people, who were victimized by FETO and judiciary of 28th February Postmodern Coup are still in prison, Sağlam added: “Despite all the reactions, the government ignored the expectations of large sections of the population and submitted to parliament a bill to regulate executions for which only a certain group are eligible. At this stage, the government is undergoing a great test of humanity and sincerity. There are aggrieved people, who have been subjected to the wrath of judiciary of 28th February Postmodern Coup and have received heavy sentences with false evidence and plotting and are still in prison. The elimination of these grievances is a human duty. Today there is a need for legal regulation to address the negative consequences of wrong and unlawful decisions and practices of the past.”

“We call for the law to be passed by parliament with an understanding that will do justice in the long term”

Sağlam concluded as follows: “"In prisons, where social isolation is not possible to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic due to over-occupancy, it is unethical to discriminate between prisoners. From this point of view, we, as HÜDA PAR, call for the Law on the Execution of Penalties presented to the parliament not to be used in a daily policy and to be passed through the parliament with an understanding that will eliminate the injustices in the execution law and ensure justice in the long term.
