Flights halted at Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Turkey
The international flights were halted and domestic flights were restricted within the scope of fighting coronavirus, announced Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport Operation (OHS) in a statement on the subject.
“In line with the measures taken in our country in order to reduce the effects of Corona virus and prevent its spread, international flights have been completely stopped as of March 27, 2020,” the statement said, adding that in line with the same measures, the principles of intercity travel have also been rearranged and accordingly, only Turkish Airlines has been authorized for a limited number of domestic flights.
The statement went on as follows: “In accordance with all these decisions as all domestic and international flights will not take place from our terminal for a while, you can learn the status and details of your previously planned flights by contacting the relevant airlines.Our biggest wish is; Our country and our nation, together with the world, get rid of this troubled situation as soon as possible.”
