U.S. requests coronavirus test kits from South Korea
The U.S. President Trump has requested test kits from South Korea to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, announced the Blue House, the presidential office of the Republic of Korea, in a statement.
“President Moon Jae-in spoke on the phone with U.S. President Donald Trump for 23 minutes from 10:00 p.m. to 10:23 p.m. today. During their telephone conversation between Korean President Moon Jae-in and the U.S. President Donald Trump, Trump inquired whether Korea could provide medical equipment and supplies to help the United States cope with the COVID-19 outbreak,” the statement said.
According to the statement, President Moon replied that his government is willing to provide as much equipment as possible, subject to domestic demand and supply. (ILKHA)
