A Chinese man dies from Hantavirus
As the world is struggle to contain the coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed the lives of more than 17,000 people so far, a Chinese man has died from Hantavirus while on a bus to the Shandong province.
All the fellow passengers on the bus have been tested for the virus, the local reports said.
Hantavirus is spread mainly from rodents. The infection with any of the hantavirus can cause hantavirus disease in people.
These viruses normally infect rodents, but do not cause disease in them. Humans may become infected with hantaviruses through contact with rodent urine, saliva, or feces. (ILKHA)
