Turkey's President Erdoğan meets with Putin
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President Vladimir Putin of Russia at the Kremlin in Moscow, where he is paying a one-day working visit.
"Due to the Idlib negotiations, our meeting is of utmost importance,"Erdoğan said, highlighting the gravity of the situation in the region.
"The felicitous decisions we will make will relieve the region and our countries"
Noting that the entire world is watching their meeting, President Erdoğan said: "The steps we will take and the felicitous decisions we will make will relieve the region and our countries. We are living in an era during which the bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia have peaked. We are in a remarkable era in terms of our relations in defense industry and trade. We plan to further advance these relations. It is our greatest aim to strengthen them. I believe we will achieve that."
Accompanying President Erdoğan on his Moscow visit are Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak. (ILKHA)
