"All aspects of the bilateral relations between Turkey and Pakistan will be reviewed and possible steps for the further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries will be discussed at the Council meeting to be held in Islamabad," the statement said.

"It is also on the agenda of the visit that various agreements be signed on the occasion of the Council meeting which will significantly contribute to the conventional basis of the bilateral relations," it added.

Turkey-Pakistan Business Forum will be held on the margins of the meeting.

Erdoğan will also meet with President Arif Alvi of Pakistan.

Erdoğan will address a joint session of the National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan. (ILKHA)
