According to the statement, hen egg production increased by 1.3%, chicken meat production decreased by 0.8%, number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 1.7%, and turkey meat production decreased by 14.2% in January-December period compared with the same period of the previous year.

According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted series; chicken meat production increased by 2% compared with the previous month. According to the calendar adjusted series chicken meat production increased by 4.5% compared with the same month of the previous year.

Chicken meat production increased by 9.7% in December compared with the previous month, and realized as 184 thousand 349 tons.

Number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 9.1% in December compared with the previous month, and realized as 104 million units.

Hen egg production increased by 3.6% in December compared with the previous month, and realized as 1.7 billion units. (ILKHA)
