Despite cold weather, thousands people have excitedly gathered in Station Square to attend the protest against the sinister plan, which aims to usurp all Palestinian territory as well as Quds (Jerusalem).

The demonstration is being organized by the Prophet Lovers Foundation and Mustazaflar Society in station square in Diyarbakir. Several NGO's are supporting the demonstration, including the Association of Human Rights and Solidarity for Oppressed People (MAZLUMDER), Anatolian Youth Association.

The motto of the organization is "Quds (Jerusalem) belongs to us".

Verses from Holy Qur'an were recited at the opening of the demonstration. The people chanted slogans protesting the occupier U.S., zionist gangs as well as the plan that they announced.

"We will make the World like a prison to zionist gangs"

Then the head of Free Quds Platform, Fikri Karavil, who was wounded by zionist gangs in Mavi Marmara, the flagship vessel of a humanitarian flotilla headed for besieged Gaza, made a speech.

He said: "Peace be upon all Prophets and Messengers, who have fought against zionist since Prophet Adam, the first human and nabi on Earth. Peace be upon Ali, who used to have Zulfiqar, peace be upon Omer, who conquered Quds, and Peace be upon our grandfather Saladin Ayyub, who reconquered Quds, expelling the crusaders from the city. Peace be upon Furkan Doğan and Ali Haydar Bengi, who were martyred abroad Mavi Marmara in 2010. You should not attach too much importance to our gathering here. Because Our Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) says, 'If you witness an evilness, terminate it with your hands. If you cannot terminate it with your hands, then oppose it with your tongues. If you cannot oppose it with your tongues, abominate it.' It is just a beginning. Today we can oppose evilness with our tongues. I hope that we will be able to terminate it with our hands soon."
