Mass shooting in Thailand: 26 killed
The soldier, who shot dead 26 people and injured 57 others in Kançanaburi province of western Thailand, was killed by commandos in a shopping mall after 17 hours.

The mass shooter was identified as Jakrapanth Thomma, 32, of the Surathampithak army camp.
National police chief Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda and Pol Lt Gen Poonsap Prasertsak, chief of the Provincial Police Region 3, confirmed that the soldier was killed on Sunday. (ILKHA)
