"Our troops that were dispatched the region in order to prevent the clashes came under heavy artillery fire from Syrian regime forces. Death tolls rose to 6 in the attack as one of our injured soldier as well as a civil employee succumbed to their injures," the Ministry said.

"We extend our condolences to our nation and Turkish Armed Forces. We wish God’s mercy upon our brave martyrs and a speedy recovery to our injured soldiers. Our state will bring the perpetrators of this treacherous attack to account," the statement added. (ILKHA)
