4 Turkish soldiers killed in Syrian regime artillery attack
4 soldiers have been killed and 9 injured, including 1 in critical condition, after Syrian regime artillery fire targeting Turkish surveillance point in Idlib province of northern Syria, Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, Turkish soldiers, who were sent to the region for the purpose of preventing conflicts, were targeted by Syrian regime forces, although their locations were previously coordinated.
In retaliation, Turkish artillery fire intensively targeted Syrian troops in the region, the statement added. (ILKHA)
