"The United Nations remains committed to supporting Palestinians and israelis in resolving the conflict on the basis of United Nations resolutions, international law, and bilateral agreements and realizing the vision of two States – israel and Palestine – living side by side in peace and security within recognized borders, on the basis of the pre-1967 lines," said Stephane Dujarric, a spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, in a statement.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said "a thousand no's" to the plant peace plan announced by President Donald Trump, which strongly favors 'Israel'.

A senior Hamas official said Tuesday that Hamas rejects the "conspiracies" announced by the US and 'israel' and that "all options are open" in responding to the Trump administration's newly unveiled peace plan, which heavily favors the occupation state.

"We are certain that our Palestinian people will not let these conspiracies pass. Therefore, all options are open. The occupation and the US administration will bear the responsibility for what they did," senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya said.

"The 'Deal of the Century' is a grave US-israeli aggression on the nation and on Palestine, that aims at liquidating the central cause of this nation", said Hasan Fadlallah member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc during a political meeting in Beirut’s southern suburb.

"The Palestinian people will thwart this deal, thanks to their sacrifices and unity," he underlined.

In a written statement, Turkey's Foreign Ministry criticized the plan and said it was aimed at "stealing Palestinian lands".

"The so-called US peace plan is stillborn. This is an annexation plan aiming to destroy the two-state solution and seize the Palestinian territories. The people and the land of Palestine cannot be bought off," the statement stressed and added: "Jerusalem is our red line. We will not allow any step seeking to legitimize israel’s occupation and atrocities. We will always stand by the brotherly Palestinian people and will continue to work for an independent Palestine on Palestinian land."

Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said that the "so-called 'Vision for Peace' is simply the dream project of a bankruptcy-ridden real estate developer", and referred to it as a "nightmare for the region and the world".

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi warned against "annexation of Palestinian lands" and the "dangerous consequences of unilateral israeli measures that aim to impose new realities on the ground".

Egypt's Foreign Ministry issued a statement "Egypt calls on the two relevant parties to undertake a careful and thorough consideration of the U.S. vision to achieve peace and open channels of dialogue, under U.S. auspices, for the resumption of negotiations".

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement, "The Kingdom appreciate the efforts of President Trump's Administration to develop a comprehensive peace plan between the Palestinian and israeli sides; and encourages the start of direct peace negotiation between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, under the auspices of the United States."

Kuwait's parliament had decided to boycott the Bahrain conference, the only Gulf state to do so. In response, Kuwait's Foreign Minister stated: "We accept what our Palestinian brothers accept." The Kuwaiti government appointed its first ambassador to Palestine shortly after. After the announcement of the complete plan, foreign ministry showed appreciation towards US efforts for peace, but added that a complete and fair solution is only possible if it follows international community terms and decisions, mainly "...an independent and sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 border with its capital in East Jerusalem."

Qatar warned that a "longstanding and just peace" is not attainable without concessions to the Palestinians.

United Arab Emirates ambassador issued a statement that the plan offers an important starting point for a return to negotiations within a US-led international framework.

United Kingdom Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab issued a statement welcoming US proposals for peace between israelis and Palestinians.

France's Foreign Ministry said in a statement, "France welcomes President Trump's efforts and will study closely the peace program he has presented."

"The European Union will study and evaluate the proposals put forward," said EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell in a statement.

Pakistan's foreign ministry said  that the country continues to support a just and lasting solution of the Palestinian issue, through dialogue and negotiations, that leads to the realization of the legitimate rights of the Palestinians, including the right of self-determination the country consistently backs a two-state solution, as enshrined in the relevant Security Council and General Assembly Resolutions.

"We renew our call for the establishment of a viable, independent and contiguous State of Palestine, on the basis of internationally-agreed parameters, the pre-1967 borders, and with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital," it added. (ILKHA)
