Terrorist Netanyahu, Gantz pledge Jordan Valley annexation
Zionist terrorist Netanyahu has pledged to apply sovereignty over the occupied Jordan Valley as an election promise since September.
Zionist Netanyahu has often said that if he succeeds in forming a new cabinet, he will annex the occupied Jordan Valley.
At the same time, the head of Blue and White party, zionist Benny Gantz, had promised to apply sovereignty over the area in coordination with the international community during a visit to the Jordan Valley.
The Jordan Valley constitute almost 30% of the West Bank in Palestine. Nearly 65,000 Palestinians and some 11,000 zionist settlers live there. Although the region serves as the Palestinians’ most significant land reserve, Israel has taken over most of the land with a view to enabling its de facto annexation. Israel also endeavors to minimize Palestinian presence there: barring Palestinians from using 85% of the land, restricting their access to water resources and keeping them from building homes. Israeli authorities are also taking measures to drive out over 50 Palestinian communities across the Jordan Valley, by making their lives intolerable.
Terrorist Netanyahu announced his government's plan to annex the Jordan Valley, if it won the election on 10 September 2019. Netanyahu said that he had received a green light from the United States' Donald Trump Administration. However, the administration said that there had been no change in United States policy.
The next day, there was international condemnation of the proposal from Palestinians, the Arab league, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey, the UK and the UN, the latter stating "Any Israeli move to impose its administration over the Palestinian territory would be illegal under international law." (ILKHA)
