Magnitude 5.8 quake strikes northeastern Iran
An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale has struck Torbat-e Heydariyeh in the northeastern Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi on Thursday morning.
The quake, which occurred at 08:02 hours local time (04:32 GMT), was at a depth of 8 km, according to the country's Seismological Center.
No report has so far been released on the possible casualties or damages. (ILKHA)
