According to the statement, in Turkey, 1 million 411 thousand automobiles, 196 million 159 thousand 813 tons of ready-mixed concrete, 659 thousand 688 tons of margarine and similar edible fats, 8 million 472 thousand 177 domestic refrigerators and freezers were produced in 2018.

Sold production was 1 trillion 776 billion 701 million TL

Enterprises' sold production for 2018 was 1 trillion 776 billion 701 million TL. The figure for 2017 was 1 trillion 342 billion 944 million TL, while 1 trillion 45 billion 754 million TL for 2016.

13.6% of sold production was basic metal products

In 2018, 13.6% of total sold production was basic metal products, which followed by manufacture of food products by 12.9% and manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers products by 10%.

High technology products shared 3% of total sold production

When products in manufacturing industry were classified according to technology levels, high technology products shared 3% of total sold production. Low and medium-low technology products corresponded to 70.9% and medium-high technology products counted for 26.1% of total sold production.

Intermediate goods had the highest share by 47.4%

Industrial products were classified by Main Industrial Groupings, intermediate goods were 47.4%, consumer non-durables were 22.7% and energy were 5.7%, as a share of 2018 total sold production. (ILKHA)
