Fatma Mansur, who was forced to come to Turkey after the coup in Egypt, said that in order that the Sisi regime to end, other Islamic countries should also cut off all ties with Sisi, as Turkey did.

Fatma Mansur said in tears that despite his 69-year-old father did not commit any crime, he was jailed in Egypt and although the court found him not guilty and acquitted, he was not released and was killed by Sisi regime in the jail.

Stating that the situation is getting worse for Muslims in Egypt with each passing day, Mansur said that Muslims could not even go to their homes, those working in the public sector were dismissed from their jobs, all their assets were confiscated and those who were caught were put in prisons.

"Muslims face great persecution in Egypt”

Mansur stated that she came to Turkey after the coup in Egypt and continued: "Muslims face very great persecution in Egypt. They cannot live in their homes because they are arrested and put into prisons by the police at any moment. Muslims have no say. When they speak against the coup regime, they find themselves in prison and are sentenced to death. In Egypt, nearly a thousand Muslims were sentenced to death and 25 of them were executed. Three months ago, my 69-year-old father was killed in the jail."

Mansur added: "My 69-year-old father did not commit any crime, he was jailed in Egypt and despite the court found him not guilty and acquitted, he was not released and was killed by Sisi regime in the jail. He fell ill due to the difficult conditions in the prison. They didn't take him to the hospital. They didn't give him any medicines. If other Islamic countries cut their trade ties with Egypt, as Turkey did, this could affect Sisi regime negatively. As you know, all diplomatic relations between Turkey and Egypt were cut thanks to Recep Tayyip Erdogan. If the leaders of state of other Islamic countries could do so, perhaps the coup would end."
