New Zealand rocked by a 5.3-magnitude earthquake
Less than a day after the volcanic eruption on White Island, New Zealand has been struck by a 5.3-magnitude earthquake.
The earthquake hit 25 kilometers south of Gisborne, but was felt across the island.
According to the scientists, the earthquake is unrelated to the eruption on White Island.
