The Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad has announced its endorsement of the decisions taken by the first Global Conference on israeli Apartheid and its support for the international coalition against the zionist apartheid regime.
This came in a press release issued by the Popular Conference after the Global Conference on israeli Apartheid concluded its sessions in Istanbul on Saturday.
In its statement, the Beirut-based Popular Conference stressed the importance of holding such meetings and events to expose zionists’ racist policies and practices and create an international atmosphere in support of the Palestinian rights.
The conference was organized by the Global Organization against Racial Discrimination and Segregation and the Union of the Islamic World’s NGOs.
The conference was attended by prominent figures, including President Erdogan's chief advisor Adnan Tanriverdi, Father Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of the Palestinian Orthodox Church in Occupied Jerusalem and Professor Richard Falk, a former UN special rapporteur. (ILKHA)
