Many NGO representatives, writers and citizens supported the press release. In speeches before the press release, the speechmakers drew attention to the US thuggery.

Emphasizing that everywhere America is, there is chaos and insecurity, Deputy Chairman of HUDA PAR Mehmet Eşin said: "Under normal circumstances, a country's consulate is not so tightly protected. From the outside, this place is like a fortress with thousands of soldiers. Many intrigues and provocations currently being conducting in Turkey are planned from here. Many Muslims like Siddiqi were brought here and sent to different countries of the world. If we want peace and security, America shouldn't have bases, intelligence centers in our country."

Meryem Kiraz, a member of HUDA PAR's General Administrative Board, criticized to the so-called human rights defenders who did not speak out against the atrocities committed against Aafia Siddiqi.

Recalling that Siddiqi, who is in the US dungeons, was a scientist and that her work disturbed the U.S., Meryem Kiraz said:" Siddiqi was a mother and had 3 children. Siddiqi intended to serve humanity and Islam. Siddiqi's older sister Fevziye said that her sister was definitely not guilt and none of the facilities provided to other prisoners were provided to Siddiqi, not even allowed to make phone calls, let alone video chat.

From here we call on the imperialist USA, O cruel America!  Now get your dirty paws off the Muslims.   Return innocent Siddiqi and his children to his family and country. Give them the rights you have been usurping on for years. O cruel America!  Know that we will continue to be the voice of Sıddıqi. We'll keep talking about this persecution."

"The true owners of Islamic countries are Muslims"

"Köklü Değişim" Turkey Media Manager Mahmut Kar stressed that the United States thought that by arresting Siddiqi it would put fear in Muslims heart, but that it would not succeed.

Journalist-writer Bahadır Kurbanoglu also stressed that the United States was not alone in committing this crime, and that local despots were still working for producing such events as Siddiqi in large numbers.

Siddiqi was intended to be used in a prisoner exchange deal by the U.S. but that was not accepted by Pakistan

Kurbanoğlu said: "Just as Aafia Siddiqi, there are women in Egyptian and Syrian prisons, women who have been raped, sentenced to prison for years, who have lost limbs, who have had their lives taken away from them. Pakistani intelligence, along with the United States, were among the main responsible in the Siddiqi incident. There was a Pakistan that persecuted Siddiqi for years and tortured her for years when we didn't know where she was. Then the US took over the torture. According to a British journalist, Siddiqi was the subject of the prisoner exchange deal between the U.S. and Pakistan, but it was not accepted by Pakistan."

Turkish and English press releases were read after the speeches.

The Turkish version of the press release was read by HUDA PAR Istanbul Provincial Vice President Seyfullah Sivi and the English version by HUDA PAR Istanbul Provincial Women's branch president Münevver Aktaş.

The statement is as follows:

TO ATTENTION OF THE PRESS AND THE PUBLIC

We are now gathered here, at the Istanbul Consulate General of the United States, which is a country that enforces primitive tribal law for other countries while it is famous for filling the world's human rights report card. In this sense, we would like to state once again that we condemn the inhuman treatment against to Dr. Aafia SIDDIQUİ, the torture subjected to her, and the prison sentence with forged evidence.

There is no doubt that ill-treatment and isolation of Dr.Afia SIDDIQİ is a human rights violation that every person and institution must strongly oppose.

Who is Dr.Afia SIDDIQİ, firstly we'd like to briefly inform the public.

Dr. Afia is scholar. She was in an effort to integrate her life with the Qur'an. Her greatest dream was to combine the teachings of the Holy Quran with modern and human sciences. He set out in the hope of realizing an educational revolution in Pakistan and all Islamic countries for the ideals she believed in. The first stop was to go to Islamabad and realize this dream.

In 2003, she was abducted at the Karachi airport by Pakistani authorities or their collaborator US intelligence, together with her three children. Her family didn't receive any news about her for 5 years. Later, they learned that she was detained in a prison at Bagram base, which is known for death and massacres in Afghanistan. The situation of her children is still unknown.

Dr. Sıddıqi injured by American soldier and she was taken to hospital located at Bagram Air Base by helicopter. During her stay, she was never allowed to see her family.

Dr.Sıddıqi said the following points at the sworn testimony in court

1. she was tortured in a secret prison,

2. the guardians were trying to produce evidence that will make her guilty,

3. She was constantly threatened that she and her children would be tortured if she didn't do what they were told.

In 2010 Dr. Sıddıqi started to be judged. And she was sentenced to 86 years in prison on charges of attempting to kill US soldiers and FBI agents. The claim of the attempted murder is following; While she was detained at the Ghazni police station in Afghanistan, Dr. Sidiqi fired by the gun standing on the ground. however, there was no incident of death or injury from the firing of the weapon. Furthermore, no fingerprints were found on the weapon in the examination reports from the forensic laboratory and no evidence that the gun was fired. Despite of this statement, she was sentenced to 86 years.

Dr. SIDDIKI has been held in federal prison at the Forth Worth Naval Base in Texas for 17 years.

When Pakistan Counsel general met with Aafia last year the official report mentions of torture and humiliation of the Qur'an being desiccated. She said that the guards constantly applied violence, psychological, physiological, sexual harassment.

To accept false charges against Dr. Aafia SIDDIKİ;

to Kidnap her with children and torturing them;

not to inform her family about her situation; and most importantly, keeping a woman in a men's prison all that means are to commit all crimes that fall into the category of human rights violations.

As HUDA PAR PROVINCIAL PRESIDENCY, we need to raise our voice once again.

The chains of belief hit not only the individual, but also all humanity.

He was pestered by Global Bandits and the only reason was to become a Muslim. We invite conscientious people to stand against the lawlessness and announce it to the world for Dr. Afiyet Sıddıqi.

We are sure that There are countless people who have been illegally put into prisons with CIA s secret operations.

Dr. SIDDIKI is just one of them. Muslims should raise their voices against these practices that violate human rights and develop humanitarian attitudes against these atrocities

Today, we would like to thank all of our political parties supported us and non-governmental organizations, sensitive press members and you who gathered here to make their voices heard and say “stop!" to the oppressor. We invite everyone with a conscience to mobilize once again and put an end to this persecution for 17 years.

Immediately, Dr. SIDDIKİ's psychological and physical health should be assured. She must be returned to her family in Pakistan safely and it must be determined where the children are. The children must be returned to family.
