NATO cannot do without Turkey: Rutte
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said, “I think NATO cannot do without Turkey.”
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte replied questions from MPs at the session held in Parliament.
Saying that he did not find it wise to argue that NATO would be better off without Turkey, Rutte noted, “This leaves us open eastern side. Turkey is one of NATO's most powerful member. I do not think you can do without Turkey from NATO's geopolitical and strategic terms.” (ILKHA)
