The number of families holding sit-in protest in front of the Diyarbakır HDP Provincial Building has risen to 11 as children were allegedly tricked and smuggled to the mountains by the PKK/HDP.

Mother Aysel Koyun, a newcomer joined to the sit-in protest, said she came from the village of Dokuzçeltik [Şeyhkendir] in Diyarbakır after heard news of mothers' sit-in protest whom children allegedly kidnapped by HDP to be recruited by PKK organization.

Her son, Reşat Koyun, was kidnapped by the PKK when he was 17 years old, said painful mother, adding that she learned that the organization had kidnapped her child after 2 years of his disappearances.

"The last time I heard from my son was two years ago. My child was kidnapped to the mountain 5 years ago, she said.

"I don't know how it happened. It was 09.00 when we got up in the morning, he left the house without breakfast. He never came back. He was 17 when he was kidnapped, he was just a kid."

Underlining that she came in front of HDP provincial building because she wants her child back, grieving mother Aysel Koyun noted that no one sent her son away except the HDP.

"I will continue the sit-in until I hear from my son. I want them to bring my child back. They can send their own children if they [HDP/PKK] want to recruit someone."

Mother Koyun said she does not know if her son is dead or alive. (ILKHA)
