206 married and newly married couples who attended marriage School training organized by Şahinbey Municipality received their certificates in the ceremony.

Attended the certificate ceremony, Prof Nihat Hatipoğlu, Rector of Gaziantep Islam, Science and Technology University, said that getting married is very difficult today because of expenses. "Young people even avoid marriage because of wedding costs"

Hatipoğlu called for marriage facilitation and said that the "Marriage School Project" was a very good work that would be an example for other provinces in Turkey.

Hatipoğlu pointed out that mutual understanding is very important in marriage. "Everything is beautiful between couples before they get married, but after they get married, everything goes into a routine."

Stating that life can make someone deal with things he/she does not account for at all, Hatipoğlu continued as follows:

"We need to make marriage easier. Sometimes our girls make a lot of demands, but the man can't afford it. Sometimes the man wants the other person to say yes to everything, but there is no such thing in our religion.

Our religion says, 'sit down and have mutual consent, love and cherish each other'. You have to look like what you are. The inside of us must be outside of us. When that happens, you'll reduce the mistakes in the future." (ILKHA)
