Strikes carried out by Assad's warplanes on Idlib's de-escalation zone killed at least 10 civilians, including 5 children, and wounded 23 other civilians.

It was reported that regime aircraft had launched attacks beginning earlier in the day on 8 villages and 3 towns in the Idlib de-escalation zone.

However, news of the actual attack came later in the evening. An airstrike by regime aircraft on the town of Marratinnuman in the evening killed 10 civilians, including 5 children, and wounded 23 other civilians.

Civil defense teams continue search-and-rescue efforts at the site of the attack, while the number of dead and wounded is concerned about the increase.

Airstrikes during daylight hours killed two civilians in Masaran village in the southern part of Idlib and one in the town of Cercenaz. (ILKHA)
