Mardin Municipality spent thousands of liras on HDP and CHP delegations!

During the presidency of Ahmet Türk of HDP, who was removed from office by Turkish Ministry of Interior, Mardin Metropolitan Municipality hosted HDP and CHP deputies and delegations in thousands of liras taken from the municipal budget.

"The municipality is indebted and therefore unable to produce services," claimed Ahmet Türk after elected as mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality on March 31, but it has revealed that the private items bought from municipality budget have reached 230 thousand lira since March 31.

The billing of meal expense of HDP co-chair Sezai Temelli, CHP Deputy Chairman Orhan Saribal and HDP deputies was 145,000 liras [~$25,000] while the municipality paid 85,000 liras [~$14,600] only for tea, coffee and chocolate bought for those people.

The municipality hosted HDP co-chairs Sezai Temelli and Pervin Buldan on April 27 in a hotel, paid 42,660 lira [~$7,333] for the meal saying was ate by 790 people.

CHP Deputy Chairman Orhan Saribal and writer Guler Buğday visited Ahmet Türk at the town hall on April 29. After a 20-minute visit, they both were hosted by the municipality in the same hotel while it costs 28,512 lira [~$5.000] to the municipality.

The municipality paid 27,518 lira [~$4733] bill for the meal of 392 people in a restaurant where has less than 100 seats following the visit of HDP Istanbul Deputy Hüda Kaya and HDP Mardin Deputy Ebru Günay on May 31.

After the visit of CHP Deputy Yıldırım Kaya, the municipality paid 28,571 lira [~$5.000] to the same restaurant 14 June where it says the bill was for the meal of 407 people while the restaurant still has less than 100 seats. Another billing that the municipality has paid was 17,621 lira [~$3.000] for the meal of 251 people still in the same restaurant after the visit of HDP Deputy Tuma Çelik.
