The repatriation of Syrians in Turkey for those who have no work permits, no temporary protection ID, and residence permits belonging to different cities has caused great unease in recent days.

Syrians, who have no work permit or on the run, are being controlled by the police in recent days in Turkey, on the street, at workplaces; have been sending back to the city where they permit to reside or back to war-torn country Syria.

"Application by the Interior Ministry is unacceptable," says sociologist-author Müfid Yüksel in an interview with ILKHA's correspondent.

Yüksel argued that Turkey's Syria policy, which began in 2011, was wrong from the beginning, stated that the predictions had gone wrong.

Yüksel said the events over Syria at the time could not be seen at the axis of Iran, Russia, and China. He also said that Turkey was knowingly or unknowingly involved in globalist projects in the United States.

Stating that Turkey has tried to do what it has to do in the long term, in the very short term, Yüksel described it as a trauma while said Turkey has attempted to run after an adventure.

"This trauma is the refugee problem and the civil war. There have been people who have died, who have lost their homes, they have been injured, and they have lost everything as a result of this civil war."

"There has been a great deal of population mobility. This situation was also reflected in Turkey in the form of immigrants."

"The Kurd issue has become gangrene in this whole area through the PYD corridor"

Criticizing Turkey's Syria policy, Yüksel said no check was carried out at the beginning of events. "A random, daily policy was being followed, not through regulation or planning."

Pointing to the chance of Turkey's Syria policy in time, Yüksel continued as follow:

"There have even been serious tensions with Russia and Iran. However, the event has undergone a complete change, particularly after 15 July 2016." rugged

"Turkey begins a journey from the Western bloc to Russia-China bloc. The Western bloc had a bumpy association with Turkey for nearly 70-year.

The sudden change has caused other traumas. This caused great upheaval both inside and outside. The Syrian issue has triggered trauma and tragedies, on the one hand, the sudden chance also made the Kurdish issue more inextricable.

The Kurd issue has become gangrene in this whole area through the PYD corridor. Turkey was acting with instant policies in the face of all these. There were no long-term projects for Turkey. There was no such situation as 5-10 years of planning and strategy setting, which was causing major crises."

Saying that there was an atmosphere in Turkey that "We will be the leader of the Islamic countries", Yüksel pointed out that it was being made out of the popularity of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

"We came to the opposite position. Arabic signs are not allowed in Turkey. There are English signs everywhere. Most of the stores are named in English, Italian, German, and in French. Where there is no objection to all these but Arabic signs?" Yüksel asked.

"Is this the return to the one-party era-like practices of the nationalist, secular Eurasian segment in Turkey, which is beginning to re-dominate the state and which has taken control of certain points in many places?

Have they taken the government completely under control under the pretext of July 15?"

Talking about Syrian live in Turkey, Yüksel said there is a dirty war going on in Syria and that it is normal for people to leave their country if they do not want to fight in this dirty war.

"There were only the Free Syrian Army [FSA] and Assad fighting. However, it became so confused that when different groups such as DAESH, Al Qaeda, Al-Nusra, and Hezbollah in Lebanon entered Syria, the number of groups fighting in Syria increased to 200 thousand."

"It is not clear who's fighting with whom, there's a dirty war now. Therefore, it is normal for these people to escape the war. People do not want to take part in the dirty war and shoot their own relative, their own hometown," Yüksel underlined and asked, "Why are you forcing these people to kill people?"

Yüksel continued as follow:

"They say [to Syrians] go and fight. Who will they fight against?

There has been resistance to the American invasion in Iraq. People from Turkey also supported it. There was resistance to an invasion force from outside. But it is not same in Syria. It is unclear who is fighting with whom here. In such a situation, it is appreciated that people do not fight and flee of war."

Yuksel reacted to the Interior Ministry's controversial application for Syrian refugees in recent days.

"Syrians come to Turkey and open shops and trade. This situation causes jealously. They are all expected to sit down and beg. Why would they beg? They work and contribute to Turkey's economy.

There could be all sorts of people among them. Because millions of people have come. There may also be those who commit crimes among millions of people and those who are prone to crime. There may be subculture groups and people who use drugs among millions. But believe me, their number is so low. There are just an exaggeration and a lie.

"A refugee enmity is on display under any pretext, Yüksel said at the end of his message and called on authorities: It is completely wrong for the Interior Ministry to send people away because they have no ID. The application of the Interior Ministry is never acceptable. This practice is against basic human rights." (ILKHA)
