Milk and milk products announced for April
Milk and milk products production in April according to data collected for milk in the previous year decreased by 6.7 percent compared to the same month.
Turkstat announced milk and dairy milk products production data in April 2019.
The amount of collected cow's milk in April decreased by 6.7% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Drinking milk production by integrated dairies became 138 thousand 731 tons in April and decreased by 2.3% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Cheese production from cow's milk was 59 thousand 612 tons and decreased by 6.2% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Cheese production from sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk were 4 thousand 13 tons decreased by 17.9% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Yogurt production became 99 thousand 309 tons in April and decreased by 1.7% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
The drink made of yogurt production became 61 thousand 430 tons and decreased by 5.6% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
In April the average fat rate of cow's milk collected by integrated dairies was 3.5%, the average rate of protein was 3.2%.
Seasonal and calendar adjusted amount of collected cow's milk in April when compared to the previous month increased by 1%.
Calendar adjusted amount of collected cow's milk in April, when compared to the same month of the previous year, decreased by 7.1%. (ILKHA)
