HUDA PAR opens its first representative abroad in Erbil
Continuing its organizational work in Turkey, HUDA PAR opened a representative office in Erbil, capital of Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government.
The opening program was attended by HUDA PAR Chairman Ishak Sağlam, Vice President Zekeriya Yapicioğlu, Vice President Abdurrahman Cens, Secretary General Şehrazade Demir, General Assembly President Isa Aydin and some Kurdish citizens from Kurdistan.
Making an opening speech in Erbil [Hewler], HUDA PAR President Ishak Sağlam stated that the aim of the opening of the representation is to meet, to unite and explain their party to the political parties, formations, movements, non-governmental organizations, opinion leaders in Kurdistan.
"We have a say in the region and world politics"
Stating that they opened the first of their representative offices in Erbil, Sağlam said: "May My Lord makes to be instrumental in the blessings. As HUDA PAR, we have stated that we have a say in the politics of the region and the world since the first day."
"We have expressed our suggestions since the first day for a solution to the conflicts and problems that have occurred in the region. Perhaps with the opening of such offices abroad, we see this as an important step as it will allow us to present our proposals to the countries and political groups abroad," Sağlam said.
Sağlam noted that opening such offices abroad will continue in other places. "In this way, we believe it will be a step in terms of the implementation of our ideas, our party programs and the solutions we have proposed to solve the problems in the region."
"Kurdistan has an important place"
Stating that Kurdistan has an important place for them, Sağlam continued his speech as follows:
"Kurdistan is a geography in the middle of Ummah and Kurds are in the center of Ummah as a structure. That is why Kurdistan has an important place."
Stating that they believe many problems in the Ummah geography if the Kurdish issue is solved, Sağlam unscored that the Kurds, Turks, the Persian and the Arabs are a people who have lived together for centuries.
"But unfortunately, the problems of the Kurds have started for 100-150 years and the internal turmoil has continued unendingly. We hope that the opening of our first representative in Kurdistan will contribute to the solution of these problems."
Sağlam underlined that they have opened office abroad to unite and themselves to the political parties, formations, movements, non-governmental organizations, and representatives of opinion leaders.
"From this point of view, I hope that the problems will be solved by talking, understanding and coming together. We hope we will have an equal dialogue with all the groups here," Sağlam noted, further underlined that this representation will be a step towards the integration of citizens in Turkey and the citizens in Kurdistan.
"We will do our best to produce solutions to problems"
Sağlam, who talked about his meeting with former President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani, said:
"Meeting with Mr. Barzani is a continuation of our previous meetings. It wasn’t our first meeting. We have expressed that we have a say to solve the problems in the region as HUDA PAR."
"In this respect, our meeting was the continuation of the negotiations on the solution of the problems in the region and the integration of our parties. We exchanged mutual opinions in this way. I hope this kind of talks will continue from now on. Of course, we think these talks contribute to solving problems."
"Yes, as people get together and get to know each other, history has shown us that some of the problems that we thought would never be solved, can be solved easily."
"We have good relations with all the groups here."
Sağlam noted that they hope the office will be instrumental to unity. This is one of the things HUDA PAR has always expressed since its establishment. We express that we are far from the elements that are separatists within the Ummah."
"This idea, this principle is still ongoing. We have good relationships with all the groups here; we continue to develop good relationships. We propose to meet people at a common point regardless of their ideas, thought, and legitimacy. We're trying to show it through our work."
