Egypt's chief prosecutor asks execution for Morsi and 23 other people

The Egyptian prosecutor's office demanded the death of President Morsi, Egyptian first elected president but then overthrown by the coup, and the execution of 23 other people by the accusation of "espionage to foreign organizations".

Members of the Muslim Brotherhood movement are charged with false and void claims, such as "trying to overthrow some Arab regimes in the region, continuing terrorist plans."

Members of the Ikhwan- Muslim movement have been charged with empty and unfounded allegations, such as "striving for the overthrow of some Arab regimes in the region, continuing terrorist plans".

The Egyptian attorney general's representative at the hearing said that Morsi and 23 other people were in contact with Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah.

The court postponed the next hearing on President Morsi and 23 other persons until April 28.

At least 1,400 people were killed by the police and the military since Egyptian first elected President Muhammad Morsi overthrown by a military coup in Egypt while dozens executed by the decision of coupist's courts. (ILKHA)
