Protests continue in Sudan
About 30 people have been killed in demonstrations since Saturday in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum.
The demonstrations in Sudan, which have started for about three weeks to protest the increasing prices of bread, spread throughout many cities and include political demands.
Political demands include the resignation of Omar al-Bashir and his government, who have been running the country for thirty years, as well as the struggle against life-cost, unemployment and corruption, and the restructuring of the state.
Approximately 30 people, including soldiers, have died since Saturday in demonstrations around the National Army Central Campus in capital Khartoum.
Hundreds of people have been injured since Saturday in demonstrations around the army headquarters in Khartoum, according to the statement by Opposition Sudanese Central Doctors Committee on social media account.
The committee pointed out that some of the injured remain serious, noting that the death toll may increase. (ILKHA)
