AK Party seeks to renew the election in Istanbul
"We want to renew the election in Istanbul," said AK Party Deputy Chairman Ali Ihsan Yavuz in a statement on Tuesday.
"Today we are making our extraordinary objection to Büyükçekmece. We want to renew the election in Istanbul," said AK Party Deputy Chairman Ali Ihsan Yavuz.
AK Party Deputy Chairman Yavuz held a press statement about local election results and the appeal process.
Stating that they have an appeal for the recount of invalid votes, Yavuz said this process currently continues in many districts of Istanbul.
"While 6 percent of the votes recounted, the difference [between AK Party and CHP] has dropped from 29 thousand to 14 thousand."
"Using the way of extraordinary objection, we will say that there are events and situations that will affect the results of the election very clearly. We will say we want to renew the election in Istanbul," Yavus stated. (ILKHA)
