The ministry stated that 310 incidents occurred throughout the country in the context of the 2019 local elections. Announced that 2 people lost their lives before the elections while other 2 people lost their lives after at 15.00 on the election day.

“Within the scope of the general elections of local administrations in 2019, 2 citizens have died as a result of the events before the elections, 2 citizens have died at 15.00 on the election day as a total of 4 citizens lost their lives,” the statement read.

The statement recalled that 5 people before the election, 12 people on election day, a total of 17 citizens lost their lives in the 2014 general elections of the local administration. (ILKHA)
