Death toll rises 6 after the sink of Panama-flagged ship
As a result of the sinking of a Panama-flagged cargo ship off Samsun in the Black Sea, the number of dead crew rose to 6 after bodies of four other missing crew were found.
Teams rescued 7 people after the Panama-flagged cargo ship carrying 13 crew members sinking off Samsun.
It was learned that 9 of the crew were from Ukraine, 2 from Azerbaijan and 2 from Russian.
Turkish Coast Guard Command announced Monday that they have received signal at 07.59 from a Panama-flagged cargo ship with 13 crewmembers that departed from the Azov port of the Russian Federation to the Port of Samsun.
After the danger signal was received, 7 people were rescued by the Coast Guard Helicopter to the hospital. (ILKHA)
