At least 2 dead in the earthquake hit Iran's Kermanshah
At least two people died in the panic and fear caused by the earthquake that hit the province of Kermanshah of Iran and felt in Iraq.
Sulaimani Humanitarian Affairs Office Chief Bestun Jalai announced that 2 people from Kelar, district of Sulaimani, lost their lives and 50 other people were injured.
Jalai also added that the 2 died as a result of panic disorder and jumped from height during the earthquake.
At least more than 500 people were injured in the 6.4-magnitude earthquake in the Iranian state of Kermanshah said local authorities.
The earthquake reportedly struck at the intersection of the province of Kermanshah and Ilam.
Aftershocks at the magnitudes of 5.2, and 4.4 struck the region 10 minutes later after the first earthquake.
The earthquake intensity was felt in the provinces of Eastern and western Azerbaijan and Lorestan along these two provinces. (ILKHA)
