The occupation gangs destroyed 20 workplaces at the Shu'fat Refugee Camp to the east of occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday.

The occupation gangs bulldozers, escorted by dozens of policemen, stormed Shu'fat early in the morning and demolished the shops for allegedly being unlicensed.

Local sources said that limited clashes erupted in the camp and zionist snipers climbed the rooftops of the houses neighboring the demolished facilities.

The sources added that the occupation gangs further closed the main entrance to Shu'fat and blocked the movement of the camp's residents.

Hemaya Center for Human Rights strongly condemned Israel's demolition policy pursued against the Palestinians in Jerusalem on a regular basis.

Hemaya stressed that the international community's silence vis-à-vis zionist's policies against the Palestinians have encouraged it to commit further violations of the international humanitarian law.

It also called on the international community, especially the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention, to shoulder their legal and moral responsibilities and work towards finding a mechanism that compels occupation gangs to respect the international law and UN resolutions on the Palestinian issue in general and Jerusalem in particular.

Violent clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and occupation gangs in Shu'fat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday.

The clashes erupted after occupation bulldozers demolished dozens of Palestinian-owned commercial stores at the entrance to the camp under the pretext of being built without the difficult-to-obtain occupation gangs permit. (ILKHA)
