At least 3 civilians were killed and 18 others were wounded in an attack carried out by a bomb-laden motorcycle in the Azez district center in Syria.

Motorbike loaded with bombs exploded in front of Meytem Mosque in Azez city center located on opposite Turkiye's Kilis on Saturday afternoon.

According to the first determinations, 3 people were killed and 18 people were injured in the explosion.

The health officials who were referred to the area rushed the wounded to the hospital in the district center with ambulances.

Some wounded were transferred to Kilis State Hospital. Local sources say the attack was carried out by the PKK/YPG while not confirmed yet.

Material damage has occurred in the area where the explosion took place.
