We have seen the game and we challenge you: President Erdoğan
Delivering the opening speech at AK Party's 6th Ordinary Grand Congress, President Erdoğan emphasized that they have seen the game and they began to challenge.
President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered the opening speech at the 6th Ordinary Grand Congress of AK Party.
"Some people threaten us supposedly with the economy, sanctions, exchange rates, interest rates and inflation. In addition, we tell them 'we have seen your game and we challenge you'. We know that if there is faith then there is an opportunity. We haven't surrendered and we won't to those apparently seeing us as a strategic partner but attack us as the strategic target in every step they have taken," President Erdoğan said.
Greeting his guests from across Turkey and abroad, President Erdoğan said: "The true founder and owner of AK Party is our nation."
"We, along with our people, stood with conviction against so many troubles, obstacles, devious traps and attacks we were faced with in the last 16 years and triumphed," President Erdoğan underscored. "It was the fight we waged in this spirit that won us the epic July 15 victory," he added.
"Ours has never been a party that runs away from a fight or tries to protect its ground at the cost of harming its own country. We have never shied away from speaking out against any injustice, oppression or hypocrisy we have seen in our country, our region and the world since our foundation, and we never will," President Erdoğan said.
"We have never bowed down to those who generated welfare for themselves by exploiting the world. We have never and will never be one of those who laughs while innocent people, hitting the road to save their lives and future, cry in dark waters of rivers, seas and oceans, and in front of barbed wires and high walls. We have never joined the ranks of those who turned their heads while Palestinians were oppressed, our sacred values in Al-Quds, our first kiblah, were violated, and we never will. We never have and never will allow the terror corridor, sought to be established across our borders." (ILKHA)
