The number of Muslims in Europe, where Islamic religion has spread rapidly, continues to increase day by day. The French-born Elitse 50, who spent a long time searching to fill the spiritual gap, became a Muslim in Toulouse.

Elitse, who applied to a mosque in Toulouse belonging to the Turkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs, stated that she wants to be a Muslim and wanted help from the mosque officials.

Elitse welcomed gently by Mehmet Şaşmaz, an imam of the mosque explained what she has to do in order to become a Muslim.

"The way of life of a Muslim friend has caused me some feelings"

Elitse, who is a Muslim by saying Shahada words, took the name of Leyla and said, "I have done long-term researches and realized that Islam is the most appropriate religion to my creation. I had a close friend. The way of life of that Muslim friend has caused me some feelings. After consulting with my family, I decided to enter Islam. I am very happy now. I feel like I am a newborn. It is a very different feeling. I will now fulfill the requirements of Islam. I want to design my life according to Islam by marrying a Muslim person. I thank my Lord very much for His grace." (ILKHA)
