A military cargo plane crashed in Algeria killed 257 military personnel.

The Algerian state television announced that 257 military personnel were killed in a military aircraft in Algeria crashed shortly after its take-off from the Boufarik airbase.
The Ministry of Defense did not give information about the number of dead. It is not known yet why the plane went down.
The plane, a Soviet-made Ilyushin Il-76, mostly carried soldier when it went down shortly after takeoff on Wednesday morning. (ILKHA)
