Islamic NGOs which came together in Diyarbakır, reacted to zionists invaders that they murdered three Palestinian Muslims in the Masjid al-Aqsa and close of the Harem-i Sharif to worship, with the press statement.

People in Diyarbakır, who came together after the Friday Prayer in front of the Historical Grand Mosque, the 5th harem of Islam, shouted slogans as “Palestine-Amed Shoulder to Shoulder, go hell Israel, Mescid al-Aqsa is our honor, Allah-u Akbar Muhammad is the Guide, long live the hell for tyrants.”

HUDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu also participated in the mass press statement together with M. Hüseyin Yılmaz, Deputy Chairman.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beytulmakdis Studies Foundation who made a speech before the press release also Professor of History Department of Mardin Artuklu University (MAU) Assoc. Dr. Khalid El Avaisi recalled that the Masjid al-Aqsa had been under occupation for 50 years and asked, “What have we done in this past fifty years?”

“Allah will ask us to account for what you did for Masjid al-Aqsa”

Khalid El Avaisi emphasized that the Masjid al-Aqsa is not only the Palestinian people but all Muslims. “The Masjid al-Aqsa is for you, but for fifty years Masjid al-Aqsa is under occupation. Your ancestor Saladin Ayyubid saved the Masjid al-Aqsa from the crusaders a thousand years ago. Before conquering the Masjid-i Aqsa, he came to Diyarbakır and came to Mardin. He traveled to this area for the mujahideen.”

In his speech, "Are we ready to conquer the Masjid al-Aqsa?" El Avaisi asked, "How do we conquer the Masjid al-Aqsa, we need armies to conquer the Masjid al-Aqsa, but all the Muslim armies are fighting each other. The people of Masjid al-Aqsa do not expect anything from the governments, they expect too much from you. We need to learn the importance of Masjid al-Aqsa to conquer the Masjid al-Aqsa.”

Stating that they want three things from everyone as Palestinians, El Avaisi said, “First is the pray. Let’s pray every day during prostrating [Sajdah]. If you pray like that every day, you will take a step to conquering the Masjid al-Aqsa. Second, let's be in constant connection with the Masjid al-Aqsa; the zionists take the headscarves of your sisters, your mothers, every day at the gate of Masjid al-Aqsa. Your brothers and sisters are beaten in Masjid al-Aqsa. The situation of Masjid al-Aqsa has been like this for 50 years. God will ask us, 'What have you done?' The third is your mothers, the mothers of Diyarbakır. When Saladin came to Diyarbakir a thousand years ago, they gave him a gift. This gift was rose-smelling. Where there is a pending stone in the Masjid al-Aqsa (the place where the Prophet Muhammad ascended to the Mirac), the crusaders cut off the pigs, and they fussed. Saladin, after conquering Jerusalem, smashed the Masjid al-Aqsa with the smell of Diyarbakır. I repeat, we want three things from each person; Daily prayer, learn the Masjid Aqsa and send a gift for Masjid Aqsa. Hopefully, a conquest army from Diyarbakır will conquer the Masjid Aqsa. We will conquer the Masjid Al-Aqsa soon together with Saladin's grandsons.”

After the speech of Khalid El Avaisi, the press statement of Diyarbakır Islamic Civil Society Organizations was read by Üzeyir Yuva.

Yuva said, “The Zionist regime, stabbed to the heart of Islamic geography, is continuing its attacks on murders and the sanctity of Muslims. 3 Muslims have been martyred in the last attack and Muslims have been prevented from doing Friday prayers in Al-Aqsa. The Zionist gang is taking steps to completely occupy Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa. The plans of the occupying zionists aiming at a more tyrannical execution of their project according to the upcoming reaction from the Islamic world. Every passing time is against the will of the Islamic ummah.”

“The silent state of Muslims is laying the groundwork for the murders committed by the zionist gangs”

Yuva added, “The fact is that Muslims’ silence is laying the groundwork for the murders committed by the zionist gangs. The zionist regime, which observes that every Muslim blood that they shed, does not bother anyone and increases its recklessness against Muslims.”

“Everyone should have shaken against the occupied zionists”

Underlining that it is the noblest and most fundamental duty of all Muslims to stand against the attacks of the zionist invaders, “Everyday a Muslim young woman or a young man in the streets of Jerusalem become the target of the zionist gang. Muslims are being murdered in the cruelest way. This is not a situation that Muslims who have believed in the divine message brought by Allah and his last prophet, Muhammad, cannot accept it.”
