Israel is continuing to block Gaza, to kill Palestinian youth in the streets, to arrest Muslim leaders illegally, and to harass the Masjid al-Aqsa. In the 7th year of the attack on the Freedom Fleet, including the Mavi Marmara ship, the Palestine lovers shouted again in Taksim that they had not forgotten the Jerusalem case.

The walk that tens of thousands of people attended started from Taksim Tunel. Palestine volunteers who often say takbir during the walk took slogans such as “Go to hell Israel”, “Salute to Palestine, resumption of resistance”, “Killer Israel get out of Palestine”, “Mavi Marmara is our honor” and “Masjid al-Aqsa is not alone”.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd in front of the Galatasaray High School, Memursen [Civil Servant Unions] President Ali Yalçın speak by mentioning the Mavi Marmara martyrs, Yalçın continued his speech as follows:

“We will never forget the mission of the Mavi Marmara martyrs. The zionists wanted to link the ship to terror from the very first moment. ‘Did you get permission from the authority` said the traitors tried to serve the zionist lobby. People told them off on July 15. There are some types called 'maniacs' to our martyrs nowadays. It will be seen soon which authorities they served. The imperialists and their friends want the Mavi Marmara to be forgotten. The silence of the Mavi Marmara is the silence of mankind and conscience.”

IHH President Bülent Yıldırım offered thanks to Palestine lovers for their participation in the march in Ramadan. He said that the walk is not only followed by Israel, but also followed by those who called “maniac types”.

“The night of the Mavi Marmara was hit by Israel, our 6 soldiers were martyred by PKK in Iskenderun,” said Yıldırım and added that, “Today, it is shouted that Israel is the killer all over the world. Today it is seen by everyone that the Mavi Marmara will continue on its way until the prayer in Masjid al-Aqsa. Israel has not kept the promise yet, while Turkiye fulfills its words.” (ILKHA)
