Al Jazeera Media Network announced that Al Jazeera Turk will put an end to its broadcast life today with a written statement they said on Wednesday.

The statement, “Al Jazeera Turk Digital activities will end as of May 3, 2017 as a part of workforce optimization conduct by Al Jazeera Media network. Our decision was hard to be decided, no matter how though worldwide compatible with the developments taking place in the media industry. As Al Jazeera Media Network, we thank our colleagues at Al Jazeera Turk Digital for their loyalty, dedication and professionalism.”

The statement that said that Al Jazeera Media Network is continuing to publish updated news and views on the region, will continue to be a key issue with Turkiye and its future, stressing that Turkiye is still of great importance for Al Jazeera Media Network in terms of bringing news from both its own territory and neighboring countries to the world.
