The 11 villager martyrs had been remembered with merciful and gratefully in the remembrance program organized upon their graves, who were martyred in the mines were blown laid by PKK in 1994 on the road of Gogwerî village (Yıllarca) to the Çınar district of Diyarbakır.

Vedat Turgut, Vice President of HUDA PAR, HUDA PAR Diyarbakır Provincial Chairman Şeyhmus Tanrıkulu, party members, civil society representatives, relatives of martyrs and lovers participated in the cemetery in the program organized by the Martyrs Caravan Platform.

Curriculum vitae banners of eleven people who were martyred were hanged in the village graveyard where the program was organized.

The program was started with Ibrahim Durmaz's Quran recitation and opening speech was made by Abdurrahman Gülçer, whose son was martyred in the attack.

Gülçer stated that the martyrs were massacred by PKK for saying "Allah", "Allah gives piece of good news in the Qur'an, there is heaven for those who give their lives and their goods in the way of Allah. Hell which is Allah's punishment for the unbelievers. No one has its words like Allah has. Muslims here were martyred because they were saying Allah. Infidels made plans and laid mine against those who say my Lord is Allah. Because they do not have the courage to stand in front of the Muslims. They thought that Muslims will give up their way. Certainly this way is our way, the martyrs path is our path. Those who are not recognize Allah must be frightened because their fate will be frustrating both in the world and in the hereafter.”

Abdulkudüs Yalçın, a member of the Scholars and the Madrasas Association, participated as a speaker and called to take over the legacy of the martyrs.

"We must first protect Islam before anything else"

Emphasizing that the right and superstition struggle will continue, Yalçın said, “The right and the superstition fight began with Adam and Satan, continued with Abel and Cain, and will continue until the doomsday. The arrival on earth is not for an eternity but a test. The martyr is witness to the Islamic cause. The martyr is the witness of his own faith, the witness of the Muslims and the Islamic cause. The brothers are witnesses of the Islamic cause. Martyrs are point man of Islam. Islam is the religion of universe. Let us look at ourselves now and think how much we protect to the case of our brothers and sisters who shed their blood for our cause and our own actions. We need to get out of it first, the martyrs want it from us, let us take Islam with our morals, our business and our lives. Our morals, our movements, our trade, our neighbors, our beliefs, our costumes, our weddings and our fathers if are unfortunately not how Allah wants, then means we have betrayed the martyrs' cause.”

Yalçın, who pointed to the cheating plans of the enemies of Islam, went on to say, “Infidels never stops. Water sleeps, but enemy never rests. Enemies of Islam never sleep and they constantly struggle to remove Islam and the Muslims from the earth. Their fight against Islam was always with lie, libel, plan and tricks. They have struggled manly against the Muslims very little.”

“The welfare of Muslims is in the brotherhood of Islam”

Today, Muslims, when they want to apply Islam to their own lives, are accused of "going too far", Yalçın said, "Today we have to take on the legacy of these martyrs. You gathered here but this job is not to commemorate martyrs once a year. Just how the enemies of Islam continue their struggle against Islam, we must struggle with all our possibilities day and night to make sure that the religion of Islam is to rule.
