Molla Mehdi Sevinç said that there they had faced every trouble because they used the 'no' vote to the constitution of September 12 coup constitution and said that it was important for them to be listened by a prime minister after 36 years.

Sevinç, who was Imam in Bingöl during the September 12th coup process, said that many religious officers who were using the 'no' vote to the constitution of the coup were expelled from the place and subjected to many troubles.

Molla Mehdi Sevinç, who was a victim of September 12th and met with Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, who came to Bingöl last Sunday, expressed ‘no’ to the 82 Constitution and stated that they were working for people to say no.

Sevinç stated that military junta had no activities in accordance with Islam and humanity until now, and said that they are against junta administrations because they know it.

“After the election results, petty officer's said ‘I hope you'll stay here!’”

Sevinç said, "I had 311 elections in Hazarşah village in Aksakal village, which I found 301. No, 301 said no, 10 said yes. so the election was over, I went to the prayer of the midday and then called me after the prayer. The unconscious officer said to me, my servant told me that we will rewrite this sum and we will change the minutes and I will not change it, after all I have not signed it. They have reversed it and told me that they hope that I will stay here! The election was over and they took me responsible for the election result of Bingöl.”

“They sent 17 religious officers to exile in Bingöl”

Sevinc, who stated that the religious officers paid the bill for not making a decision in line with the request of the military junta in Bingöl, said, "They have taken our mufti to the center. Sent 14 of the 17 religious officers to another place in Kiqi.

“The religious officers who were traveling without ties were punished”

Sevinç explained that they had not even had a drink of water for a long time and said: "We were eating a meal for a month. We had a salary cut when they caught us without a tie. We made sure that we were bathing once a month. we could not live a human life. We were not guilty. Only Bingöl, because was the first at ‘no’ votes. There was a lot of difficulties. I had kidney problems. I did not have permission anymore, you cannot have.”

Referring to the meet with Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, Sevinç said, "The Prime Minister wanted to discuss with the victims of the Constitutional of 82. They could find 3-4 people in the future. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkiye remembered us and made us happy to drink tea or meet us even after 36 years passed.”
