President of Religious Affairs Mehmet Görmez made a speech by participating in the "Respect to the Masters Aliya Izetbegovic Commemoration Program" held in GAUN in the context of his contacts in Gaziantep.

He has noticed that the late Aliya Izetbegovic was a commander who reveals the supreme values inherited by man from Islamic religion and from the Prophet's sermon on war morality and law with his words, his attitude and his thoughts in the recent war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Görmez, who started to speak by making quotes from Izetbegovic’s books and speeches, said, "Especially Aliya is very important in terms of protecting the Muslim identity of the people of Bosnia. I once again commemorate him with mercy. I supplicate from Allah for the raise of my Alias in our region.”

Noting that Aliya Izetbegovic was a statesman, philosopher, scholar, man of ideas, Görmez said, “He reminds us Sencer, on of Sultans of the Seljuk. In some ways, as he made philosophy of morality politically and at the same time, Aliya Izetbegovic’s writings also has some very similarities with Sencer’s. One of the rare people who can show it to the whole world in that humble life that unites Aliya Izetbegovic with science, philosophy, morality, justice, government and administration.”

“A wise statesman, a wise commander”

Görmez emphasized that every row of the Aliya Izetbegovic should be reading especially in that days' books, there are significant messages for today's young people, “He is also a commander who has revealed all aspects of Europe's likeness of that single-teeth monster, showing how right Akif is. The wise king's word for him was quite widespread. But I believe that he did not like the King's word. A wise statesman, a wise commander he was.”

Indicating that Islamic geography is surrounded by wars that do not recognize morality and law, Görmez pointed out the following statements:

“I would like to share with you the sayings of Aliya, the Prophet (PBUH) and the supreme values of Islamic religion inherited from mankind in the field of war morality and law as a commander with his attitudes, and thoughts in the recent Bosnian war, about war morality and law. I chose this because we are witnessing wars that unfortunately do not recognize morality and law today. Peace and embraced geography was surrounded by wars that do not recognize morality and law. Mankind has lost a lot in this point. Aliya has gathered his soldiers before the war and told them, 'My soldiers! They will kill our children when they begin, but you will never touch a child. I know they will not only be killing our women also they will attack all kinds of ugly against our women. You are Ummah of Prophet Muhammad, you will never touch out to their women. They will not be afraid to kill the elderly, but you will not reach out to the elderly who are not fighting with us, who are not in war. I know they will take great pleasure in destroying our houses, they will destroy our mosques. But you will never touch their churches.
