President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended with Mozambique President's Filipe Nyusi in Turkiye-Mozambique Business Forum in Mozambique, in his the second stop in Africa's tour.

"Our trade volume with Sub-Saharan African countries has increased from 2000 to today, reaching $ 6 billion from $ 740 million." said President Erdoğan and added, "We have found 6 billion dollars in our total investments in the region, Turks are the most local employers in Africa, we are aware of the economic potential of Mozambique as Turkey and we are following with great interest the economic development of the country. Turkiye is ready to be near Mozambique at the point of superstructure investments, if infrastructure is needed, and I will say this especially in the experience we have achieved so far. It is our motto to improve this business association, in the framework of win, win' principle, Strengthening."

President Erdoğan said that they know what has happened to Africa in the past, know how Africa exploited and know who exploited Africa, "African history is actually our bleeding wound. The delegation of businessmen accompanying me actually is a great manifestation interest of private Turkish sector. Within the business-forum, our businessmen discussed with our Mozambique friends the possibility of concrete business associations in tourism, agriculture and energy fields, especially in infrastructure and construction. Our companies, which are active in energy and construction field and represent in Mozambique, we appreciate their work here. I know that these companies are looking for ways to be more effective as main and sub-contractor or investor in Mozambique natural gas and power plants projects."

At the end of his speech, President Erdoğan said, "We have 80 million population, you have 27 million population, we make 107 million, with 107 million population we do a lot of things together."

Having completed his contacts in Mozambique with the participation in the Business Forum, President Erdoğan moved to Madagascar, the last stop on the African tour. (ILKHA)
