According to IHH [Humanitarian Relief Foundation] data, more than 50 thousand people in 81 provinces of Turkiye supported with 5 thousand vehicles for the convoy of "Open road to Aleppo". Since the 15th day of the aid collection campaign, thousand 500 aid trailer truck have arrived to Cilvegözü Border Gate.

There was a big participation in the convoy and march of "Open road to Aleppo" organized by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay.

The convoy departed from Istanbul has arrived to Cilvegözü Border Gate, passing through Kocaeli, Sakarya, Düzce, Ankara, Konya and Adana, arrived to Reyhanlı district of Hatay.

Here, the members of the convoy who attended the Aleppo rally shout slogans frequently; "Killer Russia out of Syria!", "Shoulder to shoulder against oppression!", "Killer Assad, get out of Syria!”

IHH President Bülent Yıldırım, who spoke at the rally that began with the Quran recitation, said:

"Since we went on a road on Wednesday, the world's agenda has returned to Aleppo. The call of you, the world has responded. Allah bless, Turkiye made mediation. You have come to the foot, we are here to thank you also. But I call all Turkiye here, I call all the Islamic countries here. Come with the planes, come with the cars! Is the blood of our Syrian brothers so cheap? Make a different than the world, please come out and come here. Leave to eat in luxury lounges and stay in luxury hotels!"

Yıldırım said, "When your brothers are under bombs there, there is no return home! No more leaving here until Aleppo people get out of there! I call out to my brothers, all of you will work like a reporter and you will invite the whole human from your social media accounts. Now we have invited you here to make you experience difficulty. Now we will understand, not to take a shower, or to sleep in the cold. Syrian people have been living this life for 6 years. At this moment, aid is being collected all over Turkiye. All the materials in the markets are being bought and delivered to Aleppo as aid. I call out to all our conscience associations, help Aleppo."

"I hope the civilians will be evacuated to the safe zone as soon as possible." Yıldırım continued, saying:

"You come here on the call of us, we are doing humanitarian diplomacy. Agreements are being made now, and we are mediating. In this process there are points that we are blocked, so you will stay here to put pressure on them and if there are no evacuations, you will send your message by saying ‘we will go to Aleppo!’ We will direct you according to the situation inside. You came here thinking about human life, if you move alone you can save a life. We will be coordinated like the previous ones. We will walk for a while after the meeting. Aleppo will also be back. Now we will just walk to the border. If they [regime and pro-regime forces] do not agree, the whole world will see what we will do. We don’t forget what happened Besiktaş, neither Kayseri nor Aleppo. If necessary we put all of our things, we walk in everywhere. Now you all raise your hands. We will make an oath. The whole world can see this oath: What can my enemy do to me? I carry the paradise in my heart. Being exported is travel, imprisonment is seclusion, and being killed is a martyr for me!"

Thousands of people who walked to the Cilvegözü Border Gate after the prayer on the stage set up at the border gate, will keep watch till the evacuations completed. (ILKHA)
